Pidmo to Skiumpata
From Pidmo, where we slept the first
night, we crossed two passes the next day, heading for Lingshed. This is the view from Anuma La. If I had had a wideangle lense, you'd better be
able to appreciate the cloud alleys, which is my favourite mountain "roof"!

village that has made good use of the water coming down the northern
mountainside.
There were trees in the
alleys, as you can see below.


There was some kind of Buddhist
teaching going on. These toddlers have better things to do, though!

The women are listening carefully
to the teachings. We slept just beyond Lingshed, a terrible thunderstorm
breaking forcing us (luckily) to stop for the day and seek shelter. The next day
we descended to Skiumpata, which you see below.
